having been drawn to the dark (rwd) side, i've now fell in love with this:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1988-E-REG-BMW-635-CSI-ONE-OF-TRUE-CLASSIC_W0QQitemZ170373884129QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAu tomobiles_UK?hash=item27ab1328e1&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

does anyone have experience of these things? as it keeps selling for silly coin and i have someone interested in bessie (my e36):thumb:

I've been keeping my eye out for one of those actually. I wanted a practicle Classic but decided to relive my youth and get an E21 instead.

They can suffer with rot on the chassis legs and wings and and...
We had one in a couple of years ago that still had a BMW extended warranty on it. It failed its MOT on corrosion to the chassis legs & wiper blades, the warranty covered both items as they were MOT failures!!!

Lovely cars, worth buying if you can live with the fact that it doesnt really do mpg, is very heavy and so doesnt handle brilliantly. But there awesome cars, i'd still love to get an E30.
