an exceptional set of genuine Irmscher alloy wheels made by Ronal of Germany.

These were an optional extra from the Irmscher Catalogue for Opel.

VERY RARE only a few sets ever made.

hi has anyone seen these before?
also what they worth?

Stuart
26-08-09, 11:53 AM
ARE YOU HAPPY TO PAY THAT!?!?!?!??!?!!??! if so then yes buy them, if not then no. :wall:

harmeetjohal
26-08-09, 11:58 AM
if they normally sell for £50 then i am not willing to pay that much
but if they normally sell for 350+ then i will buy....
Stuart, if you dont know then u dont know.... im new to the nova stuff.... moving over from the golf's
so i thought i would as ppl who 'may know'.....

Stuart

obviously you'd love to pay £50 for them, but lets go with the whole you dont knwo.... are you still happy to pay £375 for them? if so then thats what they are worth to you.

Its like going into a shop and seeing a Mars bar for £5, if you are happy with that price then you pay it, if not then you wait or go elsewhere. Pretty simple common sense really

harmeetjohal
26-08-09, 12:13 PM
yes but if you kindly ask ppl around you, what they normally go for, and they 35p and that they know that its not worth £5... regardless if i am willing to pay that or not... your mars bar is not worth £5 and i would be paying over the odd, but if i wanted to get it then i still would...
hence my question is what are these rims, normally worth, what is the normal selling price... do u understand or can i brake it down a lil more for you?

i wouldent say they were too rare with the amount of sets that have popped up recently and as stuart says they are worth what you want to pay but tbh none have prices as when they do come up there on ebay and the wrong size the same things always are worth and sell for differant prices but imo i'd pay that but ive no idea ''what they are worth''

These were available in different offsets & stud patterns. First of all if they are 5 stud then they are of no use to you.
The offsets available were 28, 37 and 42 iirc. The 28 & 37 are no good to you unless you are running a wide arch kit. The 42ET are meant for a Nova but you may still have to trim or fold the arches if you are going for any kind of suspension drop. One other thing to take into account is the caliper clearance as they are crap on these rims, the webbing on the back of the rims will not clear 16v calipers or larger.
As for value, I would say about £200-250 if they are mint but they are a waste of time IMO unless you are going for an old skool Irmscher look. There are a lot of nicer wheels out there!
BTW if these are the ones off Ebay then they will not fit

the are rare'ish.. but not rare enough for 375 without tyres.

Not especially rare tbh. THE most common of the old skool Irmscher wheels.

They seem rare as anything Irmscher was pretty rare over here.

More like 42p for a Mars pal. lol

but it was an ambigious question to begin with... they are still only worth what he wants to pay for them, if thats what the seller wants too then win, if nto then wait.

i understand were the fella's coming from, just wants to know what these would sell for (ruffly) if for instance they come up on ebay, we all know a gsi bumper in fair nick will fetch 70-90 quid and if i advertised one for 200 you'd all be screaming at the first person to reply asking for my payment details! unfortunatly i cant answear this guys question as i too know fcuk all about nova's being a newbie and all that, do you recon the price mentioned is a reasonable price for a set of potentially rare wheels?

he didnt want to know what they are worth to him. but what they are roughly worth,

i think you are just being annoying. as someone always has to say " what ever your willing to pay"

maybe the guy doesnt know what he wants to pay. like he said if they are cheap at 375 or what ever then he would. he just doesnt wan tot gewt ripped off.

and at least novasport speaks sense lol

welcome to png btw newbie:d

Harmeet,

I notice that on ED38 someone else told you the Stuart answer. It's just a standard retort! Bear in mind there's no "scene tax" on VX/irmscher stuff like on VW. They're rare enough to be unpriceable, but not "valuable" if you catch my drift. . . . Stick em on your audi 80 but watch what you're saying about the Nova's!

"
hahaha that made me laugh.... am glad things have moved on..... might just buy them to save them from a nova
