bah, window dressing that is, a 50% rise is only as good as the starting figure, my wage went up 50%... putting me just over minimum rise lol

but well done dude, i wouldnt mind 13.5k fo sho!

well im 20 going into 3rd year at collage doing paint and body refinishing and i get nothing from collage and have to work part time as a kitchen assistant for a measly £150 p/w and i have my own house with my lass. I cant get a job anywhere round her spraying otherwise i'd be on an apprentiship. Where am i going wrong !!! lol

Fcuks sake. I got an 7%-ish raise last year (which, in traditional MOD stylee, was 6 months LATE - we got backpaid, but did we get interest? Like fcuk) and that was considered "excellent" - most people only got about 2-4%. Currently on ~£26k a year and still broke lol

And to think people say civil servants are overpaid. :roll:

lol i used to work for MOD/ vosper thornycroft, our pay rises were never on time! classic, always months late as you say!!

60k+ a year, still brokelol lol
