Hello boys and girls ive recently been looking at a mk2 astra was just wondering because it has a 4 speed gearbox could i in some way make it a 5 speed.

take the 4 speed off and slip a 5 speed on!

what engine is it?any vaux early box should do you may need to change the flywheel??

astra, nova, corsa prob better to go for a f10, what size engine you got?

and then cut the lug off the gearstick stopping it gotng into 5th
