Just been bidding on some slabs on ebay.

Been watching some slabs for 5 days now waiting for the last minute to get me bid in :d

and they ended up going for 155 quid :eek:

with no centre caps and a slashed tire.

i remember a few year ago i nearly bought a set for 50 quid but thought nah ill get a set cheaper :roll:

price of them has gone right up these days.

anyone got a set lying about i can buy ?

i had 120 quid down for them like.

Ebay has rocketed the price of everything car-wise, i rarely use it any more as its too expensive

i was talking to a lad on here a few days ago that needed rid of some slabs and in the end he sold them for 20 quid and a GSi badge.

bet he would be sick if he knew thats how much theyre going for.

It does get silly on these older car parts. I spoke to a breakers about a Ur S4 Audi for the leather front seats, the bloke wanted 200 quid plus VAT, then I'd have a 200 mile round trip getting them too as he wouldn't post them!! He wouldn't budge on the price so I ended up getting a set of cloths for 50 quid. I'm guessing it's because he knows things like that go for 200 quid on the ebay!
