broke down ....

lol on the way to work this mornin and goin up this hill witch is on the way and im in 4th and just goes berrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr pop pop 3rd berrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr pop..... 2nd and just died
lucky there is a chap who works in the beody shop live the same way as me and was running late and pulls up behind me ..... he had no tow rope just to get me to work so he goes for help.... 5mins later i see my works pick up truck come down the road lol (at least its a vauxhall 2.5 td ) so i get to work and i had already changed my fuel pump (well mates dad did ) so i thought we had better tae that off and have a look and to my astonishment :eek: half of the lever witch pumps the fuel when cam turns had snapped off so is proberly in the sump now

fitted 2nd hand pump and its runnin fine now :thumb:

least u got towed quickly, last week i had the gearlinkage bolt sheer off on the a35 took green flag 1 and half hours toget to me cos of the traffic jam it caused 4 mile tailback even made the local radio alot ot unhappy holiday makers lol

I got an honourable mention on Fox Fm in oxford one morning... there had been the slightest wisp of snow & the south of england was shut down.. I had the nerve to overtake about 200 vehicles on a dual carriageway at 50mph & the bitch in the hecilopter was calling me names....

wernt realy rubernecking was on single cardige way bit even had the police directing traffic past me till recovery truck got there, made a change for me to hold caravans up rather than them me lol

the old bill are absolutely the worst people to turn up & direct traffic......i have had loads of runins with them....
1. me & 4 co workers were directing traffic round a comedy tigra crash on a dual carriageway junction with minor queues for 20 mins.. old bill arrive.. told me to leave immediately, wouldn't even take my details as a witness!!!!! they had the road shut for hours.. the bitch had spun it & blamed a stationary lorry!!!!
2. an air products lorry had flipped right next to a petrol station, spilling acetylene bottles all over the road.. I stopped the traffic 200yds back up the rd & sent everyone via a decent diversion. wpc turned up & said thankyou... I asked if it was ok to go & get fuel!!!! she said yes, so i did.. when i left, the firemen arrived & were dressed like the men in ET, and were all doing the astronaut walk up the road...the lorry driver had a fag on & was going round screwing the valves tight!

There was a young (blonde, doh) lass in a Starlet broke down at a roundabout along the road from me a few months back. She was in the outside lane of the approach, and being the useless baboon that she was had just got out of the car and was wibbling around. TBH I was a bit narked it had taken me about half an hour to cover less than a mile (and was epically late for picking up my mum from work lol) I pulled up behind, asked if she was ok etc and pushed the car to the side of the road. People drove past clapping at me lol

Came back the same way after picking up said narked mother about 5 mins later and the traffic was flowing freely lol
