Just took some time to get the pics of the rotten front panel up, mileage is 103,600 although it has got a massive pile of receipts with it and every mot from new, it needs a lot but i'll get all the stuff and get it done, just need to get it a c20xe or preferably if i can get one at a decent price a c20let.

Alanmc

All the panels will be ordered next week once its been stripped to see anything else that is hiding behind the wings or the bumpers, got 2 doors, gsi bumper organised to be collected next week and sideskirts paid for to come through in the post, picked up clocks for it so just repair panels to be ordered for it then its time to get the grinder and welder out.

Picked up a few bits and pieces for it so far but as yet i've not done much to the actual car, i'll be heading out to do a bit more to it tonight though and i'll take some pics including the new snap on tool box i bought so i've got some tools at home instead of carrying everything home from work all the time.

Cheers guys, hopefully it turns out nice, it might take a while as i'll need to start saving again for more bits and pieces. Not sure what exact colour its going to be yet, i know i'll be keeping it blue but can't decide on what shade, Golf R32 blue is the way i'm thinking at the minute.

Some of my new panels arrived today, need to get up the pics of the inside all stripped and post them, next jobs are to get the engine suspension and tank etc all stripped out to get the new panels on.

New Full sills

Front panel and n/s quarter panel in the box behind it

O/s wheelarch repair panel

http://i483.photobucket.com/albums/rr191/b511nls/DSC00267.jpg

Cost of the panels was a rather cheap £220

Next panels to be bought are new front wings then need front seats, thought i had a set but they wont do as i still need sr or gte subframes so i'd rather just use proper nova seats.
