the fuel line which runs from my tank to the pump has split and i was wondering if i had to replace it with the same sort of pipe or could i use another type of hose with the same internal diameter?

It has to be fuel hose its literally pence to buy from a motor factors.

shame your not closer as surei have a set of 1.2 lines here if they had been any help.

thanks for the offer ernie, ive got to go an get a few new jubilee clips so ill nip into the motor factors and/or the scrap yard if my mums kind enough to taxi me about lol

I use 8mm micro bore from B&Q, thin copper pipe you can bend by hand and I've not had a problem yet

what do you use to clamp it to the tank out let and pump?

jubilee clip over a rubber hose same as norm.
