I'm also off to the Sunday NE meet. I've been to the dragstrip too much over the years and it's got far too expensive. Must admit thought it would be better if I was cheering on someone from here.

Rickardo come to Scarborough on Sunday and run your car Monday :) Saying that it would cost a small fortune running your car and driving to each event so ignore me lol

its too far bud just for a meet for a show yes but 64 miles each way and id have to set off well early!!! york would intrest me more bud hence thats where im going!!!

and david fox come on what you want just come allong!! i dont think im going in the nova!! ill be in a 372 bhp mk4 golf!!

yea man york just more fun buddy i wouldent mind going the meet but just cba to blast loads off fuel ect ect!!! and i wouldent be going on the track up there as my sr dont go on tracks lol but id use her on the strip!!

and if i do go york in my sr since they have sorted the top end off the strip its all tarmac now you dont drop on to gravel as you go through the finish!! so i may put the sr down the strip if i go in her!! especially if ive got my 40's on!!!

and the last time i went scarborough i got 4 points for my troubles lol they have just gone and i think i replaced them with 3 last week lol

if your going to wactch for us lot look for a black mk4 golf and a ebony black saphy cosworth there both over 300 bhp and they will both be caning them pretty much everywhere like they allways do!!!

yea the saphy is the ebony black press car aswell!! very nice even if a ford!! lol

ive allways liked the look off escort rs's and that but my mate has had too series 2's and now has a series 1 and he has had so many problems with them and his 2nd series 2 and his series 1 are minters!! and he's still had so many problems with them!!

if i was to have a ford it would have to be a mk1/mk2 escort but then id rather have a chevette/manta/ascona!!!
