Last friday Dan and I had a Civil ceremony.
It was a beautiful occasion.

In all seriousness.
Last friday was my wedding and also as a two birds/one stone effect we had Ambers naming ceremony (for those who cant get their heads round that, its a christening without the god bothering).
Dan did me proud being the best man. Couldnt have asked for a better man for the job :) He didnt stitch me up in the speeches, He Ally and myself spent the morning rushing around as you do. Frankly I cant thank him enough :d
We were also privileged to have Ollllllly as our official photographer. Man hes professional when "on the job", if you have a wedding book him!!!!!!
Finally thanks to my lurvely new wife for looking stunning and being a good laugh :) And of course I looked damn sexy!
Olllly took about a million pics so sorting through them is gonna take a fair while (plus my laptop is being gay and wont read some of the files). We also have some from various other sources coming in too.

seriously, congratulations. marriage is something that a lot more people should be doing. its quite a nice thing & you can never have too many flan dishes as gifts.

Olz is an utter legend when it comes to pics and seeing a good shot :d
we have been together 5 years this weekend so having a house and a baby, it seemed like the right time to get hitched too lol
bugger, i was hoping to get a thread up first but obv with my fun yesterday i forgot to get myself sorted :wtf:
anyyyyywayyyyyy, awesome day had, obviously we started off on the thursday night going out for a meal, which i behaved at almost, then as stu said we went galavanting most of friday fetching bits and bobs for the main part of the day that afternoon, obviously again stopping off for a good fried breakfast within the mix of it :d. I was quite impressed that we got everything we wanted into the boot of the vectra with ease (rip)
I had this niggling feeling all day, then whilst at the 'barbers' olly turned up with his camera and it all became clear lol lol lol BUT for this occasion i had to ignore him as he was there to do a job and i just had to accept it which is hard when your not very photogenic. Needless to say having seen the results of the whole day he did an awesome job, very very impressed, i may have to get him to do some family shots of my gaggle once i have a few things this end sorted.
The ceremony and naming bit went very smoothly and quickly which was a good thing and things tickled along nicely until the speechy bit, now being best man is an honour for anyone asked, but to be one at a wedding where you havent met either of the families involved or close friends of the bride and groom meant the speech was an awkward thing.
I made my way into the room with the wife, and found a good spot where i could pop up out of a seat, say a few words and then retreat gracefully, ERM NOPE, wrong move bugger. As i glance up i see stu and carly walking onto a stage with a microphone :eek: at that point i knew i had been stitched up lol lol I mean, me, on a stage infront of stranger's, with a strange looking black l olly. After getting my priority's straight (dont eat funny black l olly) i was called up and did the deed, it went down well thank god and a few of the family members came up afterwards and said so, PHEW
Beyond that it was a case of food and a good old reunion with some of the old old crew from this place, including marty at long last who was an absolute scream. Very funny guy who i hope appears more often along with the other sods

It was a real pleasure capturing your day, just a shame I was nigh 3hours away, that I had to leave earlier than I wanted!
