the colour code is stamped on the VIN plate under the bonnet at the front (by the latch) - werite it down and ring up vauxhall - theyll tell you from the code

check inside the bonnet on the silver plate it should have a code - then just ask at Halfords and they will tell you the exact name  Joe

ref vin plater law, as long as its an original vin plate and its visible in the place you usually find it on the car its fine. Should be pot rivetted onto car. Its when the serial numbers etc dont match your in bother.

if you need replacements you can get them from dvla (I think or somewhere like that) - about ?80 and they take for ever - seem to remember reading a post about this months ago...

you can remove your vin plate............

your VIN number is printed on your floor pan and by law you dont need the plate
