XE rev counter

If i take the green wire from the 20XE ecu and plug it into a rev counter will it work or do I need a feed from the coil?

If its the correct green wire(in the engine to car wiring plug) it'll work fine

thts the fella. if not you can run a live from yor coil, this has 2 small wires running from the amplifier underneath it to the coil itsself, one has an 8mm fixing and one a 10, its the 8mm one you join the wire to IIRC, then run this directly to your rev counter:thumb:
