Alternator problems

Ok found out today i needed a new un. went to local scrappies got 1, took the top bolt off mine but the bottom one is bent and wont pull through. So now im thinkin cut the bolt off but its well awkward to get too. HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

cant you get a small angle grinder up inside from underneath?

a junior hacksaw and a lot of patience may be your answer.

are all alternators the same on all novas the reason is i can get one of a sr would it fit my sri?

2 possibles,

Airsaw - If you've got one
Full length hacksaw blade with one end taped over.

I'm unsrue about an SR to SRI, becasue of the injection side of the loom/electronics.

do you have acess to the bracket?

drop the whole unit off and get at the bolt in a vice or summat

im sure you can get it out if you use a slim socket set or spanner? (the bracket)
