iraqi camel spiders...
the first story i heard about them was that they run at 25mph,
once they have picked a target, they wont stop until they are dead,
they are masters of stealth and wrap themselves around your legs whilst your asleep then inject anaesthetic and chew your leg off,
they scream like little children when they run,
albeit that NON of those 'facts' were true, they sounded very fecking scary when i first heard of them lol

haha we all believed them when we first heard them, after it all started in iraq etc, all the stuff i heard made it out like they were some unbeknown monster living in the deserts that had only just been discovered, instead they are more likened to the elite guard over there, lots of stories...but thats it lol

lol - Huntsman spiders - apparantly theyre harmless - it seems the bigger something is in OZ the less you have to worry about it. Its the smaller ones that can really kill you!

Had one my in bathroom the other day only about the size of a mug but feck me i was scared but i had to get it other wise it could have come into the bedroom so ... dident want to get too close incase it got me lol
wd-40 and shaving foam FTW got it covered in wd so id ran/slid down the wall then covered it in shaving foam and chucked a hugeee cup over it left it do die and washed it down the bath but feck me they are mahooooosive

spiders are cool, i never kill them, i rescue them and put them back under the cupboards/wherever they can hide because the rest of the family hates them. our house never has fly problems in the summer though. spiders ftw.

Those spiders are horrific! What gets me is that those babies will soon be a big as the mum and then what are you going to do.
The nest is Martins room was hilrious because Martin breathed too hard whilst staring at it so the nest collapsed and the babies started falling towards his face. Never seen a grown man scream so loud and then we both went running through the house shouting for his mum lol lol
As for the few guys on here that are acting tough like its only a spider. I bet if you opened your cupboard and saw that you would scream aand cry your little pants off. "Ah no man I would like totally just pick it up and carry it outside"

Sydney funnel web spider - fecking EVIL! When I went to Oz for my honeymoon I spent most of the night sh1te scared one of them would crawl into the bed! Theyre buggers for hiding in shoes - threaten one and it rears up then chases after you!
Theyre fangs have been known to puncture toenails! Once they have you they keep biting until theyre exhausted (or you die).
typical Oz based insanity!
Like their cars - fecking mental and fully turbo charged!
