Gearbox Oil Grade F20

Hi, can anyone tell me if EP80w-90 gearbox oil will be fine for a high milage F20 box, and also the amount to fill the box up with...

Ive tried searching but can only search the word gearbox as oil and f20 are too short for the search, so theres hundreds of boxes to search through :(

Getting near to completing my 2.0 16v Fiat project... and want to get the box filled u in the morning :D

Right it looks like i have the right grade oil for the high mileage box, i just need to know how much it takes? After a google search it looks like between 1.7L - 2L of oil.. anyone know how much i should fill it with?

personally I would stick 2L in, then put a pipe from the breather to a 1L bottle and let the box settle its own level out.

Take the plug out from by the long driveshafts inner join, fill it till it comes out of the hole. Put plug back in:thumb:

I just always chuck 2L in an empty box
