Should all Nova GTE shells come with strut top plates...

Also, did all Nova GTE's come with electric windows ?

Strut plates: yes. Electric windows: No (99% sure)

At a scrappy fairly near to me theres an exact copy of a GTE - Everything you can imagine is from a GTE except theres no electric windows and no strut top plates

It must be a really good replica :)

I thought that but wasn't sure - It definately doesn't have strut top plates

It's a very good replica then - Even has the thicker front tie-bars and ARB's

The best way to tell if geniune is the a feel in the inner O/S chassis leg as the are double skinned. I think just GTE's / GSI's and TD's (iirc) had it.

i didnt think early gte's all had strut top plate? had an f reg breaker and it didnt but it was gte on logbook

duno, nevermind its gone now anyway, was in a gun metal grey colour didnt think any nova came in that colour except gte

The 2 GTE's i've sitting here at the min both have the strut plates, only one has electric windoes though. Both are Mistral Grey as well as another Mk1 in the same colour.

My 1988 GTE had strut top plates. Electric windows were an option

Mystical magical trim code should reveal if its legit.

Mind you, someone else with a GTE would need to post the trim code as well to compare as I have no idea what it is lol

yes and no all gte's had stut top plates but my gte has no lecy windows!!
