old two dial radio cover original brown slightly lighter with radio (instead of coin tray) not original but nice period accessory as an alternative to coin holder have'nt seen another of these before prob more rare than coin holder esp. with the radio!

Brown parcel shelf support carpets little faded as you would expect with brown square speaker covers with metal supports (carpet been removed to rub down supports and zinc painted to stop rust.

ps got some mk1 seat covers with the dark brown leather but a fawn material with stripes instead of the tartan very period and the leather is literally like brand new!!! saw another thread could be used either as an alternative to original seats or to recover if original leather is damaged!

parts good for restoration or spares as you all know how rare and hard to obtain this stuff is, would prefer to sell as a bulk lot

mine did must have been added at a later date but age of clock is right for a B/C reg

Its all the very dark almost black brown not the lighter cadbury's flake brown

These parts are from a later model 85/86/87 car base model iirc or Merit as it became.

Obviously Sports never had clocks, door pockets etc and this is not from a Sport!

Brown is same though or almost the same as sport! (Dash glovebox that is)

partswere from a sport but think they changed door cards for pocket type found on base models which are exactly the same but with pockets and obviously the heater panel with clock, some people prob prefered to have these as these cars were used day to day. whichever it all matches the sport colour.

ps the seats i have had for years only put them with this as i read another posting where people wanted a dark leather/vinyl, please do not post and have discussions on my thread not to be funny but it was put up for people who would be interested in the items, kind regards

A friend of mine who had a genuine,A.Deurden confirmed sport,his had a clock,and a 2 speed blower, so the "sports dont have clocks is obviously BS

Every sport i've owned has never had a clock, that's what i based my comment on. As far as i'm aware, sports NEVER came fitted with a clock, if your friend has one in his, it's obviously been retro fitted, and as such there's no such thing as, and i quote,
"original sport clock black face white markings and yellow arm"

So bs? i'm not so sure!

As i've said many time before, as a sport owner, looking for parts is a mare. There's loads of stuff, both on here and ebay, advertised as genuine sport stuff, you open the link to find, for example merit stuff being sold as. (as per SRimons comment)

Oh and one final thing, Andy, if you haven't noticed, irrelavant posts on f/s threads are banned and get cleaned up by mods.

This chap could be potentially trying to sell items that aren't as the description (knowingly or unknowingly). Would you be pleased if you went and bought this stuff at a premium price and found out it wasn't genuine sport equipment ?

for a club that is supposed to be to unite like minded nova owners who share a common appreciation for the vauxhall nova, all that seems to come of this is arguments and disagreements and generally fallings out. if this is how nova owners "come together" to appreciate a model then i wasted a tenner on subscriptionand perhaps should have bought a ford! the parts are clearly listed and pictured you either want them or not. sport sr or early nova they are still rare to get hold of as i found out!
