Are the GTE seats the same as the GSI seats? wot i mean, are the bolsters higher on one or the other?
Also, Where would i get Escort rs turbo buckets from?
I cant find any online RS Turbo breakers!
They are goin 2 b retrimmed anyway, so colour aint such a problem!

It's only the trim that's different on gsi and gte seats.

You'd have to look for Ford breakers to get them, even if not RS specialists.

with the f*rd seats, would you have to change the sub frames?

get nova recaros they rnt nearly as hard to find as the RS turbo recaros and they are a straight swap

The RS Turbo seats are really comfortable though - everyone says so.

and the SR GTE SRi and GSI seats are all teh same except for the trim.

m8's got a Escort cossy and the seats in that are amazing - they have shoulder rests!

You;d need subframes and they are big/wide so may have probs fitting. I'd go for GSi seats meself - especially if your recovering them - make sure you put leather on the outer arm sections (it wont wear as much) and alacantera on the middle parts.

Well, having sat in all of the options I'd say that the RS Seats are defo the most comfortable, especially on long journey's as you can pull out the leg support! :lol:
Any of the seats would be an improvement on the standard nova seats though, as personally I think their crap and the only thing their good for is the bin!
Only problem I've found with the RS Recaros in my car is that you do sit higher than any of the nova seats, and as I'm just over 6 foot and my cars got a factory fit sunroof, it means I have to drive around with the sunblind open otherwise I bang my head on bumpy roads :(
If your going MK tomorrow come find me and have a sit in my car and see what you think, you can also take a look at the brackets that were made to join the RS Recaro to a standard nova frame, no welding needed!!!!! :D

I think il settle for the rs turbo seats, there like rocking horse poo 2 get hold of tho!
