You will probably be going slightly faster than your speedometer reads, Theres a website that you actually put you wheels, tyre size in etc. & it tells you wot difference in speed you will be going, but I cant find it!! :x

Someone on here must know that site tho...

Anton, I can't really see it being that much! It neva is! It mite be at the VERY most 80 when u at 70! (It gets a bigger gap as you speed up)! But it wont really be noticible til after then!

Travelling too fast after then n e way so bothered!

Drive next to a mate in a standard car! Don't use a nova as their speedo's misread n e way!

it will make your speedo out some way but the nova speedo's are out anyway.

Sods law is you will be going down a road with a gasto on it - think your doing 30 and it will flash!

Heres the site with a nifty java script that converts your tyre sizes and tells you how much you are out! (about 1/2 way down the page)

you need to tyre data from the old and new sets (the set that was originally on the car at point of manufacturer)

http://www.chris-longhurst.com/carbibles/tyre_bible.html

or

http://www.sdspeedo.com/sdspeedoerrorpg.html

or (a basic one but still pretty accurate)

http://skidplate4x4.tripod.com/speedometer.html

Theres also a TON of other stuff on here about offsets, tyre construction etc...

My car ran on 13" steelies and is now on 15's - if I was doing 70 on the old wheels I'd be doing 82 on the new ones!!! the faster you go the bigger the margin!

Think you'd be doing about 90 if you were originally on 13's (based on the calculator!)

Just type in Speedo calculator into Google!
