Ive heard about people fitting single SU carbs off of mini's to nova's for autograssing.

Ive got a 1.2 OHC carbed engine as is, im looking to fit a metro turbo carb to it. whereabouts would i get ahold of a manifold to do that??

something ideally like this

any ideas??

Cheers!

BP grassing sell the swan necks. you can get a short or tall ones. I think a short one should fit the 1200 SOHC manifold no problems. That there is a MK1 astra inlet manifold I normally sell them for £85.

BP grassing 01234 709343, They are about £75. If it isnt for an autograss car I wouldnt bother. Dont forget it will need a rolling road set up too. PM me if you need more info.

could probbably get one made up for less than that looking at it...

nah, not for an autograss...trying to see if theres a cheap & easy way of doing a turbo conversion on the 1.2. figured using a metro turbo carb would be a lot better than modifying the standard one as its designed to take boost.

just trying to work out a rough cost estimate to do it. i mean im only playing around with the idea at the moment anyway.
