Wiring Rev Limiter

Hi,

Just purchased a Microdynamics RL5 rev limiter from the bay.

3 main wires:

earth
Negative on coil
Live

It says to wire the live to the ballast resistor if present... Guessing this just goes to the ignition live on the coil?

what engine??? cos the wiring spec is for a carbed engine...

the coil feed on a gm injection also powers the rest of the efi

Sorted...

Its a c20xe on R1 cars running H&H ignition.

I wired the green tot he neg on the coil, the red to the pos of the coil and earthed the black.

Works a treat, its a soft cut so not violant! Need to wire it in properly now to the cabin :)
