View Full Version : cobra monaco subframes...help!!
i've just got a set of cobra buckets and by the look of the subframes i need to drill the floor to mount them.
i was under the impression tha they bolted straight in
has anyone had any of these. they are the slide and tilt subfames for a nova
cheers.
ben.
bolt the front 2 into the holes already there from r old seats,
Drill 2 holes for back, so four holes in all and bolt in, easy enough to do
I have cobra monacos

its really easy to do mate and its not safe otherwise.... you should feel lucky you didn't get the old style subframes that just bolted together.... mine was really really really well tightened up and it still twisted every time you through it into a roundabout and the rears just rested on the floor.....
Just make sure your washers are underneath the floor and tighten it up so the actual floor moves toward the cross brace and you know its fully tightened
sorted now thanks.
drivers seat took about 2 hours in the rain last night and the passenger seat took an hour this morning
