Look everywhere for rot and rust filler welds etc

rust is the main one and the rest is generally ok and not too expensive to put right.

Engine bay seams
battery tray
front panel
inner wings
splash guards
inside of back wheelarches
sills
corners of boot
rear panel
bottoms of doors !!!
wings

i think thats all the usual rust spots ??

if it doesnt have rust in any of those then it must be a low mile minter lol

Im sorry but not ALL novas are on here, and the ones on here are sold by people who know there value, if you got one off of here theres more chance of getting a decent cheap one, ofc still good cond.

^ She's right. I gave £120 for a very solid 14 SR. just have a dig around and check stuff and you will be fine.

I have seen a very clean low mileage blue Nova hatchback on ebay at the moment - seems a good car but not sure what it will go for.

Cheers

(worth taking off bumpers) .

lmfao if i was selling a car and the buyer wanted to remove the bumpers i would politely tell them where to go!

dont buy one.
They will take all your time and money and then repay you buy leaving oil on your drive/Garden.
This will go on for many years of moaning about how you wished you had never bought it in the first place and how much you've spent on it could of bought something alot newer and more reliable and better to drive.
You will then have to defend its right on the road to all your mates.
But in the end you will take it out for a road trip and love it all over again.
Bloody things why did i ever get an sr when i was 19...

Hmmmmm i think i've been put off. The idea was to get a solid one to use as an everyday car then maybe in 18months get another run around and personalise the nova with a bit more poke for shows track days and general stuff like that.
