ive got a 1.0 at the min and i want a bigger engine!wot size engine would you recomend and how much will this effect insurance and also how much would it ocst to fit it.

it depends on how old you are? and how muck ncb's you've got. personally just go for a 1.4sr engine coz they go straight in without much trouble, but if you fancy it go for a gte/gsi or astra lump. phone liverpool vic for a quote. they are quite good. quoted me ?468 tpft for my 1.4sr and i'm 19

Hey dude thats well cheap? Is that under your own name??? My 1.2 is 1,300 under my name and thats the cheapest i could find!! Im nearly 19, and im under my dad and im still paying 668, though im looking a possibly buying a 1.8 sri corsa, and thats only ?844 under my dad, bit of a scam really int it! And to the poster of this topic, id agree wit this chap and say a 1.4!! I mean a 1.6 if you can afford it obviously..... :lol:

yer thats with my insurance, and under my name, but i think they've taken my 3 years bike no claims into account coz its with the same company
