how to fit bonnet pins?

Hi There Was Thinking About Fitting Bonnet Pins(Make It Look Coollol) Just Wondering If Its Hard Or Easy And Any 1 Got Any Tips And That Thanks:thumb:

Easy

Drill holes in slam panel, bolt in the pins.

Now either you do the pikey thing (slam bonnet down and drill through where the dents are lol) or the proper way and measure the right location for the hole on the bonnet. Another cunning way is to loosely place some blutak on the pin, push the bonnet down and the blutak will stick to the bonnet, showing you where to drill.

Once you have holes on bonnet, its just a case of closing lid, putting the catch on and adjusting the pins so it all lines up and drilling the holes for the catch screws.

I took a few pics when I fitted mine with the intention of doing a how to guide, but didn't think it was worth it as its pretty straightforward anyway lol

and make sure you use a blade for metal not the standard wood one otherwise your rag your bonnet!
