is it pos to buy a conversion kit or similar? to remove auto choke from 13sb engine??

you can, ask around at motor factors or look on ebay, i havent seen any for a while. with a bit of tinkering you can use some bits off the auto choke unit to make it manual yourself.

yer that was option 2 but if any one had summin ideal than whould have that, do any manual chokes from other novas fit?
Nothing else fits straight on, best thing you can do is get another carb and strip the auto choke off it and use that one as a mock up before you wreck your working cars one.

get a 32/34 weber carb. i had one and it was so much more useable, and added little bit of bhp

think thats the way forward, and it dont work atm any way not plumbed in.

Agree.
PS 'Alexander' used to do choke conversion kits, i did one on a Mk3 escort. Not sure if they still exist.

my auto choke never usually works but it never bothers me i just use my right foot!!
