The Time, Effot and Money involved would be better spent on a 1.4.

im planning to get a 2.0 T lump sometime in the future ( if i dont write my car off lol ( AGAIN ) )
so a diesel turbo will be cheap to get/nick from the scrappies
then i get powerflow to plumb it in?
a turbo needs to be matched to an engine AND an engine needs to be mathced to a turbo.
basically it will be a fluke if it works (effectively) after being plumbed in.
you cant just get a turbo and stick it on, hoping for the best, other wise everyone would have a turbo.
you can do it, jstu its a lot of time, money and a lot of effort thats probably not worth it.
get a cam and a nice carb. then ge tyour 20LET later

how are they matched???
all it does is spin from the exhaust gasses ( get one small enuff to spin up ) and compress air ( any air compression will be good enuff for a 1.2 :) )
vane angles/pitch. stall flow speeds and other oddly named factors determine the turbos characteristics, and the flow from the exhaust and the floe into the engine determine its characteristics.
the characteristics from both need to be more or less matched, otherwise its a waste.
