Ok ok rather then taking the mick about the baby on board sign (as you will remeber I have a 4 week old baby so ive put it up to make sure that no chump tries to hit me!!)
Fasion disaster thats your opinion, mine is that I like it ;) The front indicators are tinted in the same fasion as the headlights so they arent as dark as you would think, they just look it because of the angle!
I also quite like the Astra its good for the family! The Nova was just too much fun to drive to have a baby in the back!
Gash. Also reducing the visibility of your rear lights when carrying a baby is stupid IMO.

theyre not that much reduced! but im gettiing brighter bulbs/led bulbs to go in tehre to make sure that theyre able to be seen

i dont think a sticker will stop people accidently driving into you. if anything those stickers say "keep clear woman driver or man multi tasking"
anyway i think it suits the theme you have going.

Thanks Novaboy, its not to stop people from driving into me accidentally, but to stop those people who want to give the "crash for cash" thing a go!!

mines fun to drive with a baby in the boot!
lol @ Al.
I though the same about the 'Baby on board' sign. Good job people have them, otherwise of course I would intentionally run them off the road. lol
All of the above taken into consideration it's still a safer motor to carry your child in than a Nova though mate! Fair play.

lol, I almost ended up with one of those, but I had to stop it at winnie the pooh! I had very little say in the matter about it!! but its better then the pink sign saying princess on board that the missus wanted!!
but all in all it looks like my smoked/tinted lights ahve a mixed bag of opinions to go along with the VERY mixed bag of opinions on the car! lol
Why didnt you just get the rear lights from a higher spec model as there tinted anyway.
Probabaly about the same price as the can of spray from a breakers yard.

Ok pete, ignore the BOB sign & just becuase everyone else likes the GSI stuff dont mean that I do ;)
Im getting some nice irmy bits for it & making some personal tweeks so the GSI kit would look out of place!

Nope paint cost me the massive sum of £1 lol
And the only breakers yards round here are rip off merchants! also none of the other Astra bits are dark enough for the look im going for!

People like GSi stuff because it looks good.
lol you have a BOB sign, and make a statement that you want your kid to be safe (not safe in a Nova, fair enough) then you go and tint the rear lights making them less visible. lol  :tard:
Why would have a baby on board sticker stop someone hitting you?
You know people don't think "hhmm i'm gonna ram........ Him!" Yes?

Its just something so 1, people on the ol crash for cash thing knows if they hit me dlieberatly there is hell to pay! and 2 they understand why im doing 39 in a 40 zone and dont use the lead foot to get to said speed in the quickest time possible!
Also im addressing the lower visibility of the rear lights by adding brighter bulbs and i keep on saying that THEYRE NOT THAT DARK!!! sorry for higlighted text but ive said it a few times now and no-one seems to have noticed!!
Pete everyone thinks GSI stuff looks good and everyone fits it, as you all know im very quite odd & dont like to follow everyone about like a pleb by fitting the same kit as everyone else! Not saying that everyone who fits GSI stuff or top spec stuff to their cars are a pleb, it looks good so long as its to your taste! Its not in mine so im not going to fit it unless i can make it to my taste.
Ive got the idea of what I want it to look like so im going to work on that look & thats it, for those who dont like it, lump it, for those who do I give you thanks!!
Benn, im well aware of that after being hit on the M27 (in pompy oddly enough!) with the baby in the car and the BOB lable exactly where it is there, but for those people out there who do think "hhmm i'm gonna ram........ Him!" (see crash for cash reference earlier) they will now think twice about it and if they do hit me for that kinda idea and I find out about it and ive got my daughter in the car they will think no longer!

THEYRE NOT THAT DARK
point in case
http://i616.photobucket.com/albums/tt244/mighty_mechanic2009/P100809_2053.jpg
The pic earlier was the first draft in which case they were too dark, so i took some of the paint back and re-laquered them thus giving similar look however letting more light out!!
