MY 1981 Chevette project

Hi i am new on here, had lots of novas in the not so long ago past and im helping my mate (G-nova) with his at present. I have recently bought a Chevette and want to hopfully put a 3.0 V6 supercharged engine in but for now i am gettin car prepped for new paint job. i have chosen VXR blue with black detailing, here are a few pics of where im at now.

i decided to tint rear lights and also will be tinting front indicators, should look good with VXR blue.

i also lowered rear and removed window give a better 3 door look lol, i will be putting purpex window in (black).

I will post pics as soon as more work is carried out. By the way this is a budgit build, parts and work so far £480 inc car.
I have just bought a 1.8 Manta B engine and box, i only wanted box but engine came with it lol. £80 BARGIN will be fitting this first befor 3.0 V6.

Lol @ budget build. There is no such thing as budget build, Mine was supposed to be on a tight buget, £2000 later and I still have at least £1000 to spend on engine parts to get her finished and a few quid on welding, Paint, Wheels/tyres.

My corsa was supposed to be budgit build aswell but kept on spending money on it, couldent help myself i ended up with a 3.0 V6 + 200 shot of nos track weapon with £1000 bodykit and it was still far from finished lol

Just bought a D.A Sander and new HVLP Gravity gun, so we can get body prep cracked of much faster now. lol should be here next week mate

Finally got some more work done on the chevette this week, not a major difference as its sh*ity prep work lol. Although i have fitted low pro tyres on the front, lowered front springs and fitted new track rod ends.

Cut some metal out the rear doors and seat area and cleaned of all the tar stuff.

Buds chevette is getting painted VXR blue soon so will look ace and i think he is keeping the alloys and painting them black.

Yeah my kit wasnt my best idea but the rest of the corsa, engine, breaks, cage ect was mint and i think i done a good job of the kit for my first time lol. The chevette is staying as it is just slamed to the deck. The shape of the car is mint i love it. trying to get my mate to buy a viva.

i got a garage down here if you get it running i will spray it for you still m8, i was ****ing sick living next door 2 him i never felt settled 1 thing after another an no sign of him ****ing off so i decided to an this way im living where i always wanted and a better standard of life. if i had gone through council it would have taken ages, ever since we decided to move up into north east its gone wrong like with mason an **** so i think now should be better. i didnt wanna tell no one where i am cos if steven an slim do get in **** they will just put it on me and we dont need it so ive told ppl im in one place just to put them off where i really am lol like john an that cos i know he would talk even if he said he wont lol plus what would of been next with steven? he just getting worse especially wid slim he ****s every1's life up look at norman and yourself you have to spend time in jail all because of him while he sits their laughing at us all well **** that i cant beat him but i wont be ****ing joining him thats for sure. i not going to jail because of somthing to do with him cos thats what would be next. well im gonna stop twistin bout him now lol

I like where the lights are on mine, am not as keen on the older ones with the lights set back. i have just got new rear shocks, new rear brake cylinders, new upper ball joints and new droplinks for when its back from paint. i need a new front window due to me grinding next to it lol.lol
