ive done a search and didnt get what i wanted.

Can people post how they have fitted there intercoolers on there c20let novas please

:)

me and eastham made a recess in the lower panel, for the frontera cooler to be fitted, Cut to shape and then rewelded back up using a shaped piece of metal. I'll try and find some pics.

Kinda the same as above, only lower and recessed further back so the std bumper would fit without cutting

Pics below, can see where i bolted the bottom up just 2 simple brackets, havent got around to securing at the top, but will probably do somthing off the bumper bar

very usefull thread, going to be mounting a intercooler myself soon aswell, saves me starting a new thread, but dont want to hijack yours but more intercooler pics the better ;)

recess is best i say. heres my wip i just started. still got to fill in my recess. will get more pics on the w.e

what have you all made with your front bumper brackets?

instead of using the bumper bar

i have used the existing bumper bar, just cut a wedge out of it to fit the cooler.

The bar pushes down on the cooler, so it is solid.

Mine with Frontera cooler although I have recessed the crossmember.

This is mine with a frontera and recessed front panel. Much better fit than my previous one! The ports are at the top on mine and just fit around the rad when hoses are on. Keeps it all nice and tight.

Only just seen this, sorry. No, didn't recess the slam panel. Just butted upto it. like i said we cut out a wedge on the bumper bar, it then held the cooler in place. Solid as a rock. :thumb:

The ports for inlet and outlet are at the top, so they sit either side of the rad.
