Nova Induction kit question

My mate has a 1989 Nova 1.3SR and is looking for an induction kit for it. I have been unable to find one on the internet from the popular brands which is specifically designed for it.
Can anyone suggest one that would be suitable?
Would the 1.4SR fit?
Or is there a performance Panel filer that could be suggested.
Is the car to old for one. As I had now problems finding one for my Corsa.

induction kits refer to injection engines. if he wants a k&n filter charger, the part number is 56-9159 and i think the 9152 will fit too.

use a cav mk3 1.6 carb top box with a cossie filter

the pic below is of a spi car (indicated by 2 bolts) a 2e3 carb box will have 3

Whos engine is this?? Looks like a clean is in order!! It looks like the vavle guides have gone? Cos there is oil leakage? induction kit looks cool, bit better than that big black beast in my thing!!!!!

best to change the rocker cover gasket first, cost between 5 and 10 pound. think its aragawns (spelling) engine if i remeber right. think his engine pic was in a message a week ago.

yep, thats aragorns bay, i think he said that the box had been painted silver and the cone was a universal one!

aye it is mine

and its not getting cleaned cos its getting replaced soon with a 1400

and the bay can stay all rusty cos the chassis leg is fucked and i'll be reshelling soon too

the only issue is that cone is only a few mm's away from the bonnet - i actually think it vibrates against it at certain revs since i sometimes get a vibrating sound along with the induction at certain revs when booting it, it might be an idea to buy a K&N for a corsa 1.2SPi and that way you'll get the proper mounting brackets for the wing

its prolly a knackered rocker gasket, its done 102k and leaks oil from everywhere (sump, sump nut, rocker gasket) but tbh i cant be arsed fixing it - i'd rather spend the cash getting the 1400 running

now if only someone knew the valve and plug clearances on the GTE head :x
