My First Car

Bought this nova the other night of adrain

So far i've replace the gasket, put a proper grille in it from my uncle old nova,cleaned the wheel etc.

Hope to it get taxed and insured and on the road within the next few weeks :cool:

it is, maybe should of said the other nova is rusted quite badly and not mine but my uncles old one just lying round the yard and he's allowed me to swap things over.

1 litre, got a quote of £1422 TPFT in my own name which i think is pretty good considering im 17 and have no NCB etc. I love the mudflaps too :thumb:

The white wheels don't really do it any favours on the looks front, but at least there is decent tyres on them!

I put that 3 spoke steering wheel in it, thought it looked a little better than the original 2 spoke one!

Should be a good first car, and it's a good solid one which helps!

unfortuanetly my dad has the car in the garage,we're touching wee things up. but definitely will be some time soon lol. In banbridge the other night with my m8 in his mini (orginal mini) was class :D. Another question for you adrain lol what type of petrol did you usually use, unleaded or what?

To be honest I don't think I done 100 miles in the car, but ordinary unleaded should do the trick alright.:thumb:

Mate i've got a gsi interior wrapped up somewhere if you fancy it? looking about 150 for it - front and rear seats 4 door cards and centre console. I'm in banbridge if you've any interest.:thumb:

thought i'd put up more pictures, since the last post the cars been sand blasted, and welded etc, been sprayed around the arches etc for a touch up. put a new distributor cap and plugs etc into it to help it start better. also a set of sr alloys have been put on her

Shocks won't do it any harm, but they were brand new springs I'd put in it before you got it!

them red springs are rock hard, got a bit fade up with the uncormfortable ride at times
