Basically, im tryign to put my dvd headunit in the corsa, but when i plug it onto the original vauxhall plug, it doesnt power up atall, even with ignition on etc, eyt when i fit it in the nvoa, it works fine

when i put my old vauxhall stereo abck into the corsa however, this works fine. ive been told the wider plug on the vauxhall plugs doesnt do anything, is this true? if so, anyone help me out? it doesnt have the red and yellow plugs to swap rounf either :(

Assuming the battery is ok as the vaux stereo worked... meh, just run fresh wiring. I always install new wires for after market audio, much easier

Just for your info the top wide plug just does the display thing at the top of the dash.

is it a jvc? it shows the time/date when its got a constant live and the faceplate is on, then the headunit turns on when it gets ignition live, make sure the red and yellow wire on the iso connector has power (i cant remember which one is ignition and constant live but the black that comes from the nova loom should be ignition, i assume its the same for the corsa
