8v L-shaped coolant pipe compatability

the large long coolant pipe backside of the head im talking about.
anyone know if the metal 1.2 L-shaped pipe will fit in place of a plastic 1.6 job ? the 1.6 has a slightly larger bore on it, which is a good thing, but its plastic, which makes it pants. be handy to know, im not keen on pulling it all out to find out the 1.2 bits wont fit. ta for any info :thumb:

IIRC different, but why do you want to change? The metal ones rot away.

like i said plastics crap, it breaks when u dont want it to. metals beast and can take bruks, also it'll help with the fitting of the propper bottom hose which ive had uber bodged with a pipe and jubilee's for the last coupla months. i have the rubbers both sides for the metal pipe, if the blocks are the same size, it should fit right ?

The pipe outlets/inlets may be different, plastic is better, and they dont break lol

GTE/GSI bottom hose is the one u need.
