my finished 2.0 xe gte

just thought id put up some pics of the gte all finished for now lol Gave it a good clean on saturday. Just wanted to thank my uncle dave for putting the engine in, painting the wings and bumper and thanks to my mate chris for sorting the welding out and other bits and bobs including picking me up on his low loader when i was running the engine in lol but its running good now. hope you all like it:thumb:

yeah i forgot to do the grille but will do that this weekend. my uncles got some black strip for the bumper, just will have to ask nicely. i want a gte badge for the front but dont know where to get one from any ideas? thanks for the comments lads:thumb:

as said a little clean up of the grill and the pin stripe on the front bumper should make it "nearly" complete

Nice, a Red GTE in H-Reg can't get any better than that, I saw a J-reg on pistons few weeks back advertised as an orignal GTE, not sure if they made J-Reg ones, if they did, it'd be very rear.

and trust me,it looks like over spray,it isnt, its actualy the glue of the back of the masking tape, with the paint onit(it comes off i took a little off the bottom but the paint aint fully dried so ive left it for now in case i mark it,it will come off easily enough,like i say its just the glue of the tape.

I can see plenty of areas under the bonnet that could be cleaned to bring it inline with how clean the outside is.
