I bought This corsa b on sunday cost me £450. 1.2 poo!!(honestly slowest thing i have ever driven even compared to my 1.3 serria 4x4 lol lol ) Tax till Dec and MOT till nov. 79k
As u can see i've called it project dechav as the poor little car has been attacked with A dustbin lid sized exhaust, horrid lexus rights, big air filter and extremley big 17 inch wheels!!

I've ahve already bought std rear lights and and back box of egay.
I have also manged to source a set of steels so am buying some tyres sometime this week £106 delivered set of 195/50/15! which i think very good!!

My plans are 60mm at the front 80mm at the back on steelies sprayed gloss black. Front grill,tidy up the body work and maybe a sport or gsi interior.
I have got my sub 6x9 etc going in this week so hopefully drown out the noise of me sounding like a small aircraft coming down the road hahaha!!:thumb:

Comments welcome good or bad and any advice on corsa b's as i have never own one!

Picked up this Astra alloys for £125. 2 good tyres 2 **** but the bloke gave me to Astra sport sprae wheels with well nearly brand new rubber on so putting them on tommorow at a mates garage. The Astra alloys need a refurb so will be doin that when i get a spare weekend!!`

General consensus for selling tyres to joe bloggs public, as if it all goes tits up they're gonna make a mess with the **** end hanging out whereas going straight on is a bit more 50/50 could be good could be bad. Depending on your driving experience though I'd say oversteering when **** hits the fan is much better as at least you try and control that, understeer is very much a hello hedge moment lol

Std exhaust went on friday so looking complete std on the outside now.
Wheels got rubbed down all good to day and fought **** it will have a go myself!

Well pleased with the way they have come out because this is my first refurb of a set!! Have learnt if im doing it again get them snadblasted lol!!

Will be doing the other two wheels sometime this week. And hopefully be picking up my 60mm rear springs in the week. Would like to lower it next week end but well its my sisters wedding........:thumb:

yep, cheapos on the front, you can easily let off the accelerator to stop yourself from understeering, its alot harder to get the back end straight when it steps out

im realy starting to like the colour shame its not the best dents dings and a scrap down the rear quater:roll:

Been a busy one today. Picked up my new 288mm brake set up off matt on here Cheers mate. Only 45 min drive which was i right result and £80 even better like new pads n dics look newish too!!

So set about fitting them in the garage not out in the rain hahah!

After Massive improvement on braking and how it looks. Very tight fit but doesn't bang on the weights so thats a bonus!!

Well nothing has happened to the wee ginger ninja for a while but have got my Post 97 bumpers on with a clio front splitter. also got some HIDs off a friend for £30 notes which set it off nice.. Think the redtop will be going in soon so watch this space!!

Bought them already drilled which was good. Im looking for depos atm but they are always few and far between and quite expensive for what they are!

Lucas ones are the same, about £20 each on ebay. Simply five mins in the oven and you can just pull them apart to spray the chrome bit black.

Check my WIP on my Corsa Mark, theirs a section on how to smoke your own depo's, mine cost me nothing atall, even robebd the lights from a scrapper at work and nicked the paint and sealer from the stores lol :thumb:

But i got an offer i couldnt refuse on friday night. Picked up this.
The plan is to pull the redtop out and put it in my ginger one. Then with the 1.2 out of mine into the white and sell on for as much as possible. Will have mot and tax if anyone will be interrested?

Shes in running like a gem apart from an air lock somewhere as i cant get the heaters working :/ but hopefully will be sorted in the next few days! everything went perfect apart from getting it running saturday night then for it to die on us. Found out it was a ****ed dizzy so went and picked on up sunday put it on and bang first time she started. Still needs a good few hours spending on it sort out the fan switch, speedo and at some point a cambelt but part from that over the mmon with the way it went. Couldnt have done it without Stuart Sam ben and G man for funding the project lol

sorted the few bits that needed doing but havn't been able to see if she is running good due to the weather and i very much dobut i will now till spring :(
