Whats the widest and smallest profile tyre you can get on a 14inch wheel 5.5 wide and original size of 165/65/14

I would go for a 185/60/14 or 185/55/14 otherwise you are going to have issues like recalibrating your speedo etc

you might beable to get tyres to stretch on them, look on wheelwhores they have a wheel size chart with the smallest tyres that you can get on each size. they big into streched look.
I personaly wouldent as i think it could be dangerous at high speed.

Brettski has told me to go for a 185/55/14 but i really did want a smaller profile tyre if it was possible, or maybe even a stretch tyre, there the cavalier expression wheel but in a 14inch guise :thumb:

I wouldnt want to put stretch tyres on mate as you said it could be dangerous :thumb:

over width is just as dangerous (if not more so) than stretched tyres.

Look on toyo and Kumhos sites as they list the recommended rim width for each tyre size they sell. It will give you a good fel fro what you can fit
