Why??????

Hi, just boughts some GSI doors and they have metal around windows instead of rubber.
Dose anybody know why?

they have metal aswell have a close look

they are window surrounds to match rears.

I noticed that on the one in the scrap yard, was going to get them but 1 was on floor all bent. They also do little ones for the mirrors dose anyone know why?

Just an added extra on some models, gives the windows a bolder look. Look at the rear windows on gsi's, you will notice the surround extends down to a point on the rear corner

Its a styling thing. Not sure what you mean about the mirror ones though...

when i got doors from scrappy i had to take mirrors off, between mirror and door was a little metal plate that fell off. I didnt think anything of it at the time lol Stupid me i should of got them

lol. Yeah you need that part, it's the corner of the front surrounds, not a seperate part for the mirror dude.
