Well last year I mulitcared the fleet up and the £1200 a year in seperate policies went down to £620 (less than insuring the vx on its own lmao).. this year its gone up 10% on the renewal!!!!!!! 10 sodding percent! I dont care how they look at it, its a rip off for that level of increase.

Anywhere else do decent multicar? (I think i tired ecarinsurance and they quotes £1300 lol) on the plus side, due to an expert comedy error, I now have 9 years no claims extra to use on the nova :d (it should only be 1 year lol)

Any "I told you so" gen? :p

Are you with Admiral at the mo? I think Direct Line also do multi car... Sky can mirror NCB as well, they do for me.

What cars do you have to insure and how?

yeah with admiral. prehaps I shouldnt have siad they saved us £600 in the survey lmao

vx220, 20Kmiles a year worth shag all, FC, 10years ncb me
1.8mk4 SRI ashtray, 10Kmiles, worth shag all, FC 9years ncb carly
1.4 nova luxe (yeah baby) 1Kmilse a year, worth millions lol, tpft 9years ncb me

I'd expect with 28years ncb for our insurance to be free lol

Individual policies I reckon for those should see you round the £600 mark.

Exempli gratis, my Cerrika is grou 17, like the VX. I pay £300 FC with business use, 9NCB, albeit only 10k a year. Nova, with the V6 etc, costs me £395, so a standard one I would expect to be about 1/3 of that. I also can't imagine an Astra SRi being that much to insure, especially for a lass with high NCB.

Get in touch with Ollie and see what he can do :d

have sent him a pm to call me lol

The nova is coming in on average as £200!!!!!!! thats what I paid with no noclaims when I got it lmao.

The vx is barely seeing less than £600 :( They claim its the milage that affects it but I even tried on 10K and it didnt drop that far (knuts)

Astra is £300ish on its own.

Admirals breakdown is as follows
vx £365
astra £210
Nova £120

Now if they can do that on 3 cars (and in some pervy manner we could crash both FC cars into one and other lol) then why isnt it possible on singles!!

Hi Stuart,

we'll call you, haven't looked at your message yet but the prices you have quoted above are very, very, very low already. I seriously doubt we'll improve on them. We may be able to offer a better level of cover a the best!

Cheers

Ollie

Toot Toot!

Sounds like the weighting for NCB isn't huge for many years NCB over just a few years.

May not be of any use, but I have a multi car classic policy on 3 cars 3000 miles each on the SR/Sport & Rover SD1 Vitesse for @£370, every day car is on a std policy.(with NFU)

That is with RH Speiaist Insurance

over 5years NCB and pretty much all insurers dont give a flying fcuk :(
5years is nothing, they should move to properly taking into account upto 10 years

Yep, most consider 5/6 years to be "max".

Last time I was doing the insurance rounds, I said I couldn't remember exactly how much, was something like 8 or 9 and pretty much all of them said so long as its over 5 they didn't care lol

My renewal with admiral was 20% hiked up, swiftly gave them the 2 finger salute and fiddled with the direct line website and save a fortune.

Added my mrs as named driver as she was already direct line so got loyalty discount, then her renewal was £150 more than we could get a new quote with them for so took out new policy with me as named driver so she got loyalty discount lol
