spax coilover kit RSX543 (i think) is plenty low enough, wound down all the way itll sit just how you want at the front, load of tosh this 100 , 120mm bollocks, then get a custom pair of 70,80mm rear springs; job done.
Spax kit fetches £200 used -£400 new, plus £50 odd for customer rear sprin gs..

Steve, i paid £400 for mine IIRC. Custom short bodies, correct springs for an XE, rods turned down for eccentric top mounts....no extra cost. PM stu for the details. I'm sure the club offer is still on.

Just remember, same with most things...you get what you pay for! Second hand stuff may be cheap, but may be in need of a rebuild. Which could end up costing the same as new, once you've bought them.

^^ yeah that!

since 95% of the GAZ stuff is made to order they can make mods to what you want with great ease and little to no extra cost to you. WIN

I got a 2nd hand Spax RSX coilover kit for £200. Front is up as high as it goes at the moment, and I'd estimate my tyre-to-arch gap at about 2cm. I reckon to put your wheels on and drop it down so the tyre is right on the arch you're looking at winding the coilovers down by about 7cm, which I reckon is doable.

then needing stiff as funk springs to prevent the dampers bottoming out when you get any form of travel going on :(
