Who do you insure your modified cars with?

Struggling to find decent insurance, they want ?489 TPFT for the Nova Sport, robbing b*stards.

Anyone got any better ideas ?

Best thing to do is read back through the previous posts a few pages because this question gets asked again and again...

you should find quite a few posts about it with pretty much the same answers each time.

Will probally stick with the Flux Quote then, thanks all.

P.S. I know I complain about ?480 being expensive, but when I also insure a motorbike and another roadcar it all begins to add up !!!

You've still not told us how old you are MattNovaSport, have you got any convictions agaisnt your name, have you made any claims, etc.

?480 is a good price TPFT.

I pay around that fully comp with Liverpool Victoria, but I'm 25 with 6 years NCB and a highly modded car.

Try bouncing that quote of another company and see if they lower it anymore. Insurance companies are out to make money, so if they can get your business by giving you a cheaper quote than another insurer then it works out for both you and the insurance company :)

I am 26, have had no claims, no convictions, have 5 Years NCB on another car so cannot transfer.

I still think ?480 is expensive since the car is only insured for ?1500 and 3000 miles.

I pay less than that for my bike.

Now that you've given us a little bit more information ?480 TPFT does seem a little high. Try phoning around and see if you can get any better quotes. Insurance companies such as Flux, might not give you the best quote, even though they accept modded cars. Insurance varies from one person to the other. It might have something to do with your location as well :? Who knows why insurance quotes are so random, lol.
