Right it is my girlfriends 21st in May and have decided to go away for a weekend, looked into the prices in this country and its cheaper to go abroad (plus i want to).

So the choices have been narrowed down to

 Paris

 New York

I have no bias towards the French or the Americans so this is not a factor but the threat of war could be.

The reason i want to go to Paris is the cost... Its cheaper.

The reason i like New York is i want a Tattoo done by a certain artist that works there.

So let me know what you think, first hand experience would be great.

if i had the choice to go it would have to be new york cause its not often that u can get there.
If its a special occasion then thats the place.

Paris is fine to but u can drive there and its pooooo.
Only decent thing is Disney

Neither, save your cash and spend it on your car :D

Joking aside, I'd have to say New York. The anticipation on the flight over there will make the weekend seem longer. Plus Everyone tells me New York is an amazing place and you'll never get the same sort of atmosphere anywhere else in the world.

Like Tilly said, France is down the road. Go on, treat her, imagine the blow job you'll get when you arrive at the hotel in New York ;)

or on the plane if hes lucky ;) lol

and will everyone stop being so wussy about the "war" like its even fair to call it that. personally i dont care if they level the middle east, or jsut walk off without doing a thing. just make a decision. We arent about to die in WW3. rant over

go to new york, stuff will be cheaper in the stores too.

plus you get to go to the worlds biggest village

I would say new york - but its a fookin long flight for a weekend mate...

Paris is alright, but i dont really find it anything too special really.
Rome would be a much better place to go in europe and still cheaper than new york....

If you can afford it go to new york mate... it would really be something she would never forget. Paris is only spitting distance away.

The g/f may like Paris as it is romantic, especially if you go on a boat trip down the river. but i would go N/Y much more to do and it is a bit more different compared to France

Take her on a helicopter flight over Manhattan and shopping for jewelry in Tiffany's. Sorted.

Then get your tattoo.

If you go to the right places Paris is incredibly romantic.
But new york is really really good too and a different culture again.
New york flights are peanuts at the mo- as are Eurostar first class tickets

Splash out on concorde for new york :D

Flip a coin if you cant decide.
Its a hard choice-
