spray paint help!!

im just colour codin the inside of my car and i started by doin the swithcse etc ive sanded them down cleaned them, i then put primer on when dried sprayed in the red colour but when it drys the colour goes dull why is this aint it ment to be shiny thanks for any help! :)

u painting them somewhere warm / out of wind?????? or in the elements ;) ?

what colour plastic primer are you using? You are using plastric primer right?

Just to check but the paint youve bought isnt matt or satin finish is it?

Sometime depending on the paint and the way you sprayed them, the surface finish may appear matted or "orange peel" (looks like orange peel close up. Simply wait for it to dry (leave somewhere warm for 24 hours) then gently sand back using 1000 wet n dry on wet - do v gently - then lacquer - lacquer will bring out shine.

You can buy special plastic paint from halfords! ?10 a large can but is flexible and doesnt peel! Ive used it before and its great! So easy, no need for priming and if you get a run, you can rub with finger and spray over with no marks! No need for finishing either!

Surprised as I thought it wouldnt work!
