Halfords Ftw!!!

i think i just became the luckiest nova owner on png, if not in the country:d
i just popped into a halfords near me(st.helens)for a bike innertube for the little lads bike,i noticed most of the shelfs are empty as there moving across the retail park to another unit.
anyway i also see that everything in store is now reduced -75%off.
its then that i see suspension kits stacked up in the corner g/max and spax
i looks through them to see that there is a SPAX RSX 543race(fully adjustable)for the nova/corsa b,theres a price tag on the side saying £534.49.

So i asks the guy how much is it gonna cost me for the kit me,he comes over and say's we cant guarantee that all is there,but if your happy to take them (sold as seen)you can have them for £50:eek: id already checked the box and everything is there 4 springs 4 shocks and the spanners to adjust,even the a guide to fit them and adjust etc:d so i was in no doubt straight to the counter to pay for my bike innertube and my brand spanking new suspension kit:d

just a little question to you guys,will astra gte 16v brake discs(ebc)fit straight on to my nova gte?

Oh and astra 2.0 brakes will fit providing you've got big enough wheels for them, and you want the calipers and pads too - all just bolt straight on.

sorry to kill your fire but the kit wont fit ... but i'd be happy enough to take them off your hands :pit sure will fit mate i done a few checks while instore on my phone(internet):d :p there are also spring kits by spax/gmax for astra gte 16v/golf gti 16v(not sure which model)fiesta xr2i and one or two other's a snip at £25 a set.

tell you what if i have enough money on me and time tommorow night after work ill pick them up.
btw there is also a spax rsx kit to fit saxo vtr/vts,but didnt check any of it!

Tbh you arent the 1st to get a similar deal from Halfrauds in the same situation. They do it all the time!

The Astra discs will fit if youve 14"+ wheels wider than 5.5" & use the calipers & pads for the same setup.

been on clearance a while now; all of the decent reddot brakes, spax suspension etc halfords have been selling are reduced to clear..
virtually non left -lucky nowadays really.

I found the spax RSX kit pretty hard tbh. The rears scrubbed with the kit springs, but I had a low offset wheel.

Still, billy bargain. You could sell that on ebay for £300 easy.

SPAX are renowned for being hard, I have the SPAX VSX kit on my Nova and **** me I hate it sometimes, But an RSX kit for £50 you lucky luck man, If there is any left get me one and I will pay £100 for it :d

I've go the RSX on my XE Nova and their excllent! Their not the full race versions tho, these ones can't be rebuilt.
