1400 sri engine tuning

hey Folks

Right well my plans are to fit a 1400 8v sri engine into my car, It has already got piper cams, Air filter and 4 branch manifold, What else can i do to the engine it make it a bit quicker ??

I was thinking adding better fuel injectors might help ? Or some changes to fuel rail ?

I am thinking about rebuilding it next summer and getting head skimmed and new valves and stuff so i no about that.

But what else can i do ??

Not really much you can do without spending a lot of money. Oh and hikeing up your insurance.

What bout fuel injectors ?? will better ones make a differents ?

Without seriours internal work no.

NO. Leave the std injectors & fuel press refulator.

You only have 1 cam btw (not cams).
These engines do respond really well to head mods, flowing & enlarged inlet valves. That would be my 1st mod on this engine tbh.
