Could someone tell the best way to smooth all the seams in the engine bay i will be fully seam welding it first, i want to smooth it a bit like Benn's (hope you dont mind if i borrow your pic m8)

Maybe the same way ive done mine and just make templates and weld them in place. all tho i cut the inner wing out to make it again so you wouldnt do that. just the metal plates thats needed if that makes any sense

Ah right see what you mean now, could'nt i just fully seam weld it then fibreglass and fill it after?

Yes but fibreglass can crack. you dont have to cut it out like i have but can do something simlar. if you put metal plates there that wont crack.

Fill what you can with weld/flap back etc. use as little fibreglass and filler as possible. I have done this on another car and used plastic padding flexible filler where needed. IIRC Benn used black fibreglass.

lol Yea i wanted something there as you can see how much was gettingcut out. and was on a sunday so no places to buy metal so out came my brace lol
