Nova Td clutch

..as am sure many of you know, haynes do not do a manual for the TD nova thus leaving me with no idea how to change my clutch as the gear box is differnet to the petrol models, the box has the quick removal pannel in the bell housing (so its got to come out that way). i have been told i need some U shaped hooks to press the pressure plate together to remove and refit the clutch unit!

Basically is this true or can i just prise the clutch in and out and do the gear boxes have the same removal method as the petrol engined novas??

just remove the 8 bolts and completly remove the box, its so much easer lol

yeah but then u have to remove shafts and mounts and am only doing it on my drive
