xe problems

hi i bought a xe corsa was runnin sweet but lately its bin runnin lumpy and stutters wen drivin slow as if theres not enuff fuel goin in just wonderd if any1 had same probs, am useless wiv spanners 2 haha

Is the ecu light wired in ?

If so flash the codes out to see if anything is up.

Engine must be running though.

Air leak is most common, check any pipes around the air flow meter, throttle body or icv to sfi box or inlet. You can check any of those with brake cleaner.

Dizzy cap, rotor arm (if early xe) are worth checking, same with leads and plugs and possibly the coil.

It will more than likely be something I've mentioned above as the engines suffer badly from both unless everything was renewed at some point
