may aswell stick a question on here about my astra. When i brake the side lights go on and off. eg when i press the brake pedal the side lights come on and when i ease off the lights go off. this is during the day when i dont have any lights on. I have not noticed this before and would like to know if any of the members with astra mk4's have the same " problem". < if i can call it a problem.

If it has stop and tail bulbs in the rear lights this'll be where the two circuits are coming together

the left rear brake light was not working recently. but the bulb was fine, so i got a bit of silver chewing gum wrapper and lodged it behind the bulb. light works fine now, but could this be the cause?

ye ur right lol i always tell people to stay clear of that place. i remember once when i was down there, some guy was just about to buy a delta. i got talking to him and i said i wouldnt bother. he paid for it and drove off. 5 mins later he came back with steam pouring out the bonnet. the guys working there just basically said it was fine before and there was nothing they could do :roll: lol
