could sum1 advise me on immobilisers my bruv rekons i should try to make a homemade immobiliser using a switch on the ignition but would i b better off spending the money and getting a proper immobiliser

Better off having one professionally supplied and fitted. Pref. a Thatcham approved one.

why is this in styling?

also even if you do (which you SHOULD) get a thatcham approved one, an extra switch, or even better, a KEY switch hidden somewhere in the car cant do any harm, a burgular will expect an alarm or imobiliser, and the sad fact is they probly know a way round, nowt you can do

a hidden switch on the other hand.................

wire a relay to the blue remote out on your radio!

that could be funny, it means you would never forget your face off again!

you would have to have the radio on for the igntion to be live.
